Durban born duo, Distruction Boys have revealed that Mampintsha owes them millions in royalties for the hit record, ‘Wololo’ which they produced.
In a number of social media posts, Distruction Boyz claim that they were not paid a single cent despite the song generating revenue through iTunes plays and being featured on 2018 Marvel’s blockbuster ‘Black Panther.’
Following the posts, Distruction Boyz’s manager Spha told YFM that Mampintsha owes them millions of rands, over R15 million.
Spha also revealed that the duo were supposed to earn 50% of the song’s royalties and even more shockingly, they are not even receiving any earnings from SAMRO for the record.
Spha also confirmed that they will be taking legal action against Mampintsha to claim their royalties.
